Broughty Ferry Spirits was developed to enable us to give back to the community where we live.
Our original Scottish Gin, with a pink hue, was inspired by the blossom trees in Dawson Park and is distilled using locally grown raspberries from Balhungie Berry Farm. It was initially planned to support the local lifeboat, and was due to launch in summer 2020. However, with the Covid-19 pandemic, the launch was brought forward, and with the agreement of the local RNLI, the initial funds raised were donated to the Broughty Ferry food-bank.
Local illustrator Molly McCammon created the image ahead of the special release, and the feedback on the design was so positive, the decision was made to continue with the iconic castle image.
In Autumn 2023, we increased the range to include an aged Golden Rum which has rested in oak casks for 3 years.
We are proud to continue our support for our local life-boat, and with our recent move to a new, larger, more sustainable bottle, we are delighted that we can increase our donation to £2 for every bottle sold.
